Tracing its roots to 1905, DRS is proud of its 100+ years of experience as a full-service stevedore and marine terminal operator. Jointly owned by Ports America and SSA Marine (global marine terminal operators and stevedores), DRS has its corporate headquarters in center city Philadelphia (PA). The company has full-scale terminal stevedoring operations in three States and five locations with offices in Philadelphia, Camden (NJ), and Wilmington (DE).

The expertise of DRS management and supervision is complemented by an extensive range of equipment and gear enabling the company to handle any cargo on any vessel. Whether it's containers, project cargo, automobiles, perishable fruit, steel, coal, wood pulp, cocoa beans, or live cattle headed to the Middle East, DRS moves an impressive variety of cargo with skill and care on a routine basis. Importantly, DRS is the largest employer of the ILA (International Longshoreman's Association) on the Delaware River, last year supplying nearly one million man hours of this experienced, safe, and expert labor force.
